MOME Metals Recycling is built on a foundation that goes back to the 1980s. Our founders, Mo and Mary Ellen, entered the metal recycling industry over 35 years ago, starting at the ground level by personally picking up end-of-life vehicles for customers across South Florida.
In 1991, they opened their first metal and automobile recycling facility in Miami, Florida. Over the next three decades, they built one of the most experienced and well-connected recycling operations in the region, expanding their presence across both South Florida and Southwest Florida.
That depth of experience is what MOME was built on. We know this business because we have worked every level of it, from picking up a single vehicle to processing thousands of tons through our own industrial shredder.
